Feet are the human equivalent of bird wings or fish tails; they get us from A to B, and can take us on long, exciting journeys. It’s important to care for them in as many ways as possible, which includes making the decision to wear high-quality, luxury socks.
With a texture that is soft to the touch and a fit that is snug but not too tight, these bamboo socks are just what the doctor ordered. They come in a variety of colors, with three pairs of different colors coming in each package, as well as in two different sizes. Their composition is 85% bamboo, 10% elastane, and 5% polyamide. Matching Your Socks to Your Outfit
When you have the perfect outfit, you don’t want to ruin it by wearing the wrong pair of socks, do you? Of course you don’t! To ensure that this doesn’t happen to you, we have a few tips that may help.
Avoid mix-matching patterns
If you decide on a pair of pants with a crazy print, be sure to avoid socks with patterns. On their own, each pattern might be eye-catching and stylish, but together they can be a bit much.
They can even make you look not stylish, which isn’t what you want. Go for a solid colored pair of socks with patterned pants, and vice versa.
Match your socks and tie/pocket square
The best way to pull an outfit together in a matter of seconds is by matching your socks with your pocket square or tie. Using the same color for both gives any outfit a seamless appearance and can take your entire outfit to a new level.
Avoid matching exact colors
It can be tempting to throw on a light blue pair of socks and your tie or shirt that is in the same exact color – but don’t do it. Remember, matching doesn’t have to mean the exact same color. As long as your matching items fall into the same hue category, they usually always look good together. If the colors are too similar, your matching looks deliberate, which goes against how it should look – effortless.
Know when to get creative with matching
There is a time and a place for trying out crazy matches. Generally, this time is not on days where you’re scheduled to give important speeches or lectures, or when you need to be taken seriously. On an average day at work? Go for it.
Get creative with patterns (providing that they follow these basic rules) and have fun. But save the extra creative pairings for less important days.
Never match your socks and shoes
This should be a no brainer. However, it often isn’t. You should never match your socks with your shoes. If you have a pair of black shoes and a pair of black socks, your shoe-sock combination can quickly give off a boot-like appearance.
If you must match them for some reason, opt for the colors to be in the same family but a few shades different.
Socks are a luxury, regardless of their style or composition. However, the ultra-comfy socks we mentioned above are a few of our personal favorites. Feel free to match them to your outfit, but make sure your patterns don’t clash and always double check that your shoes are not the same color as the socks you’re wearing underneath.
